Founded by Editor Emeritus and Reigning Fairy Godmother Kate Wolford and managed by Editor-in-Chief Kristen Baum DeBeasi, The Fairy Tale Magazine provides readers and writers with a place to enjoy classic and modern fairy tale inspired works. My work in this issue is a short story titled "When Wishes Still Came True." It is inspired by the Brothers Grimm tale "The Frog Prince." My story upends the Grimms' patriarchal expectation that the princess must marry the frog, replacing it with a romantic happily-ever-after.
